Riviera is a chair that turns sitting into a bit of a show: a beech frame, a mirror-deep black lacquer, and your choice of pink or blue fabric. The shine of the piano-black lacquer is the first thing that gets noticed when you walk into the room; the colour of the fabric takes care of the rest.
The three-slat back curves gently inward, and the arms turn out of the frame and finish in fabric. Both the seat and the arm tips are upholstered, so your elbows are comfortable and so is the back of your knees. Underneath is a sturdy, slim frame in beech; the lacquer turns it into a smooth black that throws the light back.
Choose pink and the dining table becomes a studio; choose blue and it gains a calm, self-assured look instead. Both sit on the same black frame with the same solid stance; the only difference is the fabric. You can line up six chairs in one colour, or mix the two and bring a bit of play to the table.
The lacquer pulls itself together with a damp cloth, and the fabric only needs a brush now and then. Dust and fingerprints show on glossy black, we'll say that up front; but that look is exactly what it is for.

Wipe the lacquer with a damp, soft cloth and dry it with a clean one. Avoid abrasive pads, solvents and polish; dust and fingerprints show on glossy black. Brush the fabric now and then with a soft brush or vacuum it on low suction; if something spills, blot it straight away with a damp cloth.

- Can I return it?
- You can return it within 14 days of delivery. The product must be sent back in the same packaging and undamaged; any damage is documented with a photo. Pieces made to your own requests (custom size, colour or fabric) are excluded from the right of withdrawal; details are on the Delivery and Returns page.
- How can I pay, and is VAT included?
- You can pay by credit or debit card (iyzico). Prices include 10% VAT.
- Who makes Riviera?
- Kavela makes its furniture in Ankara, Türkiye as boutique production. Because of this, dimensions can vary by a few centimetres and colour or texture can differ slightly from order to order.

- Yes, there are discounts for larger quantities. Tell us the quantity and where it will be used and we will prepare an offer.
- Where is it made?
- Kavela pieces are made in our own workshop in Ankara.
- Does it need assembly?
- Most pieces arrive ready. Some need simple assembly, and in that case an assembly diagram is inside the package.
- Do you ship abroad?
- Not at the moment. For special requests, please contact us.
- What happens after I order?
- You receive an order confirmation by e-mail, and a second notification when your order is ready.
- Is there a warranty?
- Yes, a 2-year warranty that covers every problem caused by production.
- Do you send fabric or leather samples?
- We do not send samples. For questions about colour and texture, write to us on WhatsApp or by e-mail.
- Can I visit the store and see the products?
- Yes, every day from 10:00 to 19:00 except Sunday. Not every product is always on display, so ask us first if you want to see a specific one.
- Can you issue an invoice?
