Savoy is a chair that doesn't question sitting, it just seats you. Satin grade 304 stainless steel from top to bottom: the back is steel, the seat is steel, the legs are steel. No upholstery, no cushion; what's left is exactly what you need.
The slight lean of the back meets your shoulders, and the front of the seat is rounded, so the back of your knees never meets a hard edge. At 46 × 46 cm and 80 cm high it doesn't take up room: you can squeeze four around a small dining table, or scatter them through every corner of a café.
It suits an American diner like the ones in the photographs: checkerboard floor, neon light, mugs that keep getting refilled. But it stands just as comfortably at home, in a kitchen, or in an office dining corner; whatever colour of light falls on it, it takes on.
The satin surface reflects light softly rather than harshly; fingerprints and everyday scratches show less than on polished steel. Still, with use it will carry the marks of the place it lives in, so be ready for that. Wipe it with a damp cloth and dry it with a clean one, and it pulls itself together again.

Wipe the stainless steel with a damp cloth and dry it with a clean one; wiping along the satin lines reduces marks. Avoid abrasive pads, bleach and chlorine-based cleaners. Small scratches blend into the surface with use.

- Can I return it?
- You can return it within 14 days of delivery. The product must be sent back in the same packaging and undamaged; any damage is documented with a photo. Pieces made to your own requests (custom size, colour or fabric) are excluded from the right of withdrawal; details are on the Delivery and Returns page.
- How can I pay, and is VAT included?
- You can pay by credit or debit card (iyzico). Prices include 10% VAT.
- Who makes Savoy?
- Kavela makes its furniture in Ankara, Türkiye as boutique production. Because of this, dimensions can vary by a few centimetres and colour or texture can differ slightly from order to order.
- What is Savoy made of?
- Grade 304 satin stainless steel (back, seat and legs).
- Will fingerprints and scratches show on satin stainless steel?
- Fingerprints show less on a satin surface than on a polished one, but they can appear; wipe with a damp cloth and dry with a clean one. Small scratches from use blend into the surface over time. Avoid abrasive pads, bleach and chlorine-based cleaners.
- Won't a steel seat without upholstery be uncomfortable?
- The front of the seat is rounded and the back is slightly angled, so there are no hard edges or flat backrest. Steel does feel cool at first touch; add a seat cushion if you like.
- What does grade 304 steel mean?
- 304 is a standard stainless steel grade, also used in kitchen and food equipment, with good resistance to corrosion. All stainless steel products on the site are grade 304.
- Can I order a custom colour, fabric or size?
- It may be possible. Write to us with what you have in mind and we will tell you what can be done.
- Do you offer discounts for bulk orders?
- Yes, there are discounts for larger quantities. Tell us the quantity and where it will be used and we will prepare an offer.
- Where is it made?
- Kavela pieces are made in our own workshop in Ankara.
- Does it need assembly?
- Most pieces arrive ready. Some need simple assembly, and in that case an assembly diagram is inside the package.
- Do you ship abroad?
- Not at the moment. For special requests, please contact us.
- What happens after I order?
- You receive an order confirmation by e-mail, and a second notification when your order is ready.
- Is there a warranty?
- Yes, a 2-year warranty that covers every problem caused by production.
- Do you send fabric or leather samples?
- We do not send samples. For questions about colour and texture, write to us on WhatsApp or by e-mail.
- Can I visit the store and see the products?
- Yes, every day from 10:00 to 19:00 except Sunday. Not every product is always on display, so ask us first if you want to see a specific one.
- Can you issue an invoice?
