Nedret is a stool that takes sitting seriously. The brushed surface of the round seat spreads light out from the centre; the edge is rounded, so your hands and legs are comfortable. Underneath, four tube legs curve up into the seat: a steady, balanced stance that never shows off.
Grade 304 stainless steel from top to bottom: the seat is steel, the legs are steel. At 49 cm across and 45 cm high it is chair height: at a desk, beside a kitchen island, or in the middle of a conversation saying "come, sit." The black caps on the leg ends are there so the floor does not get scratched.
When you are away it is a side table, when you are here it is a seat; we decide together which it is at any moment. It picks up small marks over time and carries the story of where it lives. It can show fingerprints; wipe it with a damp cloth and it pulls itself together again.

Wipe the stainless steel with a damp cloth and dry it with a clean one; wiping along the brushed lines reduces marks. Avoid abrasive pads, bleach and chlorine-based cleaners. Small scratches blend into the surface with use.

- Is shipping free?
- Yes. Shipping is free across Türkiye (DHL, UPS or contracted logistics).
- Can I return it?
- You can return it within 14 days of delivery. The product must be sent back in the same packaging and undamaged; any damage is documented with a photo. Pieces made to your own requests (custom size, colour or fabric) are excluded from the right of withdrawal; details are on the Delivery and Returns page.
- How can I pay, and is VAT included?
- You can pay by credit or debit card (iyzico). Prices include 10% VAT.
- Who makes Nedret?
- Kavela makes its furniture in Ankara, Türkiye as boutique production. Because of this, dimensions can vary by a few centimetres and colour or texture can differ slightly from order to order.
- What is Nedret made of?
- Grade 304 stainless steel (seat and legs).
- Will fingerprints and scratches show on brushed stainless steel?
- Fingerprints are less obvious on a brushed finish than on a polished one but can show; wipe with a damp cloth and dry with a clean one. Small scratches from use blend into the surface over time. Avoid abrasive pads, bleach and chlorine-based cleaners.
- What does grade 304 steel mean?
- 304 is a standard stainless steel grade, also used in kitchen and food equipment, with good resistance to corrosion. All stainless steel products on our site are grade 304.
- Will the feet scratch the floor?
- The leg ends have black protective caps to prevent scratching on parquet and tiles. We still recommend lifting it into place rather than dragging it.
- Can I order a custom colour, fabric or size?
- It may be possible. Write to us with what you have in mind and we will tell you what can be done.
- Do you offer discounts for bulk orders?
- Yes, there are discounts for larger quantities. Tell us the quantity and where it will be used and we will prepare an offer.
- Where is it made?
- Kavela pieces are made in our own workshop in Ankara.
- Does it need assembly?
- Most pieces arrive ready. Some need simple assembly, and in that case an assembly diagram is inside the package.
- Do you ship abroad?
- Not at the moment. For special requests, please contact us.
- What happens after I order?
- You receive an order confirmation by e-mail, and a second notification when your order is ready.
- Is there a warranty?
- Yes, a 2-year warranty that covers every problem caused by production.
- Do you send fabric or leather samples?
- We do not send samples. For questions about colour and texture, write to us on WhatsApp or by e-mail.
- Can I visit the store and see the products?
- Yes, every day from 10:00 to 19:00 except Sunday. Not every product is always on display, so ask us first if you want to see a specific one.
- Can you issue an invoice?
- Yes. Enter your invoice details while placing the order.
