Pastis is for anyone who wants two tabletops and can't find room for both. The low one is 35 cm, the high one 45 cm; both are 40 cm across, both are walnut veneer, both sit on the same stainless steel tube. One for the coffee, the other for whichever book is in your hands that day.
The high top is for the glass, the lamp, and everything you put down with "I'll just leave it here." The low top is for magazines, the remote, and things you reach over to grab. What goes where is up to you; Pastis doesn't make rules, it just adds a little air with the ten centimetres between them.
The stainless steel tube frames the walnut veneer the way a bar corner might: shiny, a bit showy, but not too serious. It suits the side of a sofa, the foot of an armchair, or a dimly lit corner at the end of a long evening. It can show fingerprints; wipe it with a soft cloth and it shines again.
Due to boutique production, dimensions may vary slightly, and the grain of the walnut veneer differs a little from one table to the next.

Wipe the stainless steel tubes with a damp cloth and dry them with a clean one; avoid abrasive pads, bleach and chlorine-based cleaners. Wipe the walnut veneer with a well-wrung damp cloth and dry it straight away; use a mat under hot items and do not leave water standing.

- Yes. Shipping is free across Türkiye (DHL, UPS or contracted logistics).
- Can I return it?
- You can return it within 14 days of delivery. The product must be sent back in the same packaging and undamaged; any damage is documented with a photo. Pieces made to your own requests (custom size, colour or fabric) are excluded from the right of withdrawal; details are on the Delivery and Returns page.
- How can I pay, and is VAT included?
- You can pay by credit or debit card (iyzico). Prices include 10% VAT.
- Who makes Pastis?
- Kavela makes its furniture in Ankara, Türkiye as boutique production. Because of this, dimensions can vary by a few centimetres and colour or texture can differ slightly from order to order.
- What is Pastis made of?
- Natural walnut veneer tops, 304 stainless steel tube frame.
- Will fingerprints show on the stainless steel tubes?
- Fingerprints can show on a polished surface. Wipe with a damp cloth and dry with a clean one; a little glass cleaner also works. Avoid abrasive pads, bleach and chlorine-based cleaners.
- Does the walnut veneer tolerate water or hot dishes?
- Do not put hot dishes down without a mat and do not leave water on the surface; both can mark the veneer. Wipe with a well-wrung damp cloth and dry straight away.
- What should I watch for when opening the package and placing it?
- Keep any cutter away from the product when you open the package. Lift the table rather than drag it, and lay a soft cover underneath so the floor is not scratched. Check the package with the courier at delivery and, if you see damage, have a report made and write to us.
- Can I order a custom colour, fabric or size?
- It may be possible. Write to us with what you have in mind and we will tell you what can be done.
- Do you offer discounts for bulk orders?
- Yes, there are discounts for larger quantities. Tell us the quantity and where it will be used and we will prepare an offer.
- Where is it made?
- Kavela pieces are made in our own workshop in Ankara.
- Does it need assembly?
- Most pieces arrive ready. Some need simple assembly, and in that case an assembly diagram is inside the package.
- Do you ship abroad?
- Not at the moment. For special requests, please contact us.
- What happens after I order?
- You receive an order confirmation by e-mail, and a second notification when your order is ready.
- Is there a warranty?
- Yes, a 2-year warranty that covers every problem caused by production.
- Do you send fabric or leather samples?
- We do not send samples. For questions about colour and texture, write to us on WhatsApp or by e-mail.
- Can I visit the store and see the products?
- Yes, every day from 10:00 to 19:00 except Sunday. Not every product is always on display, so ask us first if you want to see a specific one.
- Can you issue an invoice?
- Yes. Enter your invoice details while placing the order.
