Orson is a round steel table that appears to be carved from a single piece. Brush marks radiate outwards from the center of the tabletop, which rests on a single cylindrical leg. There is no other ornamentation; because none is needed.
The polished surface casts light in different directions throughout the day. It reflects one color in the morning, another in the evening; it also takes on the color of the surrounding chairs. It finds its place in a neon-lit restaurant as well as in a white studio.
Because it is round, no one is left in a corner. It functions as a dining table, a meeting table, or an island placed in the middle of a conversation. Stainless steel may show fingerprints; when wiped with a soft cloth, the surface returns to its original state.
