Ulus is an open shelf that stays tidy. With a width of 90 cm, a depth of 30 cm, and a height of 75 cm, it's console-sized: it leans against a wall in an entryway, living room, or a bar corner; its three shelves hold books, bottles, records, and whatever you need that day.
Satin-finish 304 grade stainless steel from top to bottom. The shelves are steel, the tubular legs are steel, the bolt heads at the joints are steel; a matte, calm, and unpretentious surface. Whatever is placed on it, it becomes a backdrop, taking on the color of the room.
The three shelves can be considered for different purposes: on the top, things that should be at hand all day; in the middle, your favorites at eye level; on the bottom, heavy and rarely needed items. Since the shelves are open, you see both the load and the empty space; it doesn't look like it takes up space even in small rooms.
The satin-finish surface shows fingerprints less than a polished surface; over time, it acquires small marks, carrying the story of its place.

Wipe the stainless steel with a damp cloth and dry it with a clean one; wiping along the grain reduces marks. Avoid abrasive pads, bleach and chlorine-based cleaners.

- Yes. Shipping is free across Türkiye (DHL, UPS or contracted logistics).
- What is the return and exchange policy?
- Kavela Design pieces are not sold from stock; each piece is made to order for you according to the colour, fabric, material and dimensions you select. Therefore, under Article 15/1-b of the Distance Contracts Regulation, the right of withdrawal (return without reason) does not apply. In case of transit damage or manufacturing defects, free repair and replacement apply; details are on the Delivery and Returns page.
- How can I pay, and is VAT included?
- You can pay by credit or debit card (iyzico). Prices include 10% VAT.
- Who makes Ulus?
- Kavela makes its furniture in Ankara, Türkiye as boutique production. Because of this, dimensions can vary by a few centimetres and colour or texture can differ slightly from order to order.
- What is Ulus made of?
- Satin grade 304 stainless steel (shelves, tube legs and fixings).
- Does satin stainless steel show fingerprints and scratches?
- Fingerprints show less on a satin surface than on a polished one but can still appear; wipe with a damp cloth and dry with a clean one. Small marks from use blend into the surface over time.
- What are the dimensions?
- The whole unit is 90 cm wide, 30 cm deep and 75 cm high, with three shelves.
- Can I order a custom colour, fabric or size?
- It may be possible. Write to us with what you have in mind and we will tell you what can be done.
- Do you offer discounts for bulk orders?
- Yes, there are discounts for larger quantities. Tell us the quantity and where it will be used and we will prepare an offer.
- Where is it made?
- Kavela pieces are made in our own workshop in Ankara.
- Does it need assembly?
- Most pieces arrive ready. Some need simple assembly, and in that case an assembly diagram is inside the package.
- Do you ship abroad?
- Not at the moment. For special requests, please contact us.
- What happens after I order?
- You receive an order confirmation by e-mail, and a second notification when your order is ready.
- Is there a warranty?
- Yes, a 2-year warranty that covers every problem caused by production.
- Do you send fabric or leather samples?
- We do not send samples. For questions about colour and texture, write to us on WhatsApp or by e-mail.
- Can I visit the store and see the products?
- Yes, every day from 10:00 to 19:00 except Sunday. Not every product is always on display, so ask us first if you want to see a specific one.
